SITUATION:
A high-performing and driven director was leaving relationships in her wake as she drove for results.
APPROACH:
Anne conducted a 360-assessment to help the director see and acknowledge the behaviors she needed to change in order to advance in her career. Anne worked on specific communication skills and video-taped the director as they role-played a variety of communication situations.
VALUE DELIVERED:
The director was able to see for the first time how her behavior was impacting others, and she was able to see this behavior pattern both at work and at home. She developed alternative communication methods and was able to receive on-going support from her manager as she worked to change these behaviors. She has since served as the CIO at two organizations.
